Cookie Policy

Cookies are small text files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. They let the site remember your actions and preferences, or let a third party measure how the site is used. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, work in the same way: the site stores a small value in your browser and reads it back on later visits.

This policy covers the Manifest website at manifestgit.com, operated by Vector One. The Manifest desktop app does not use cookies; its optional telemetry settings are described in our Privacy Policy.

This storage is required for the site to respect your choices. It does not track you and does not require consent, although you can clear it at any time from your browser settings.

The value is stored as a small JSON object containing your analytics choice and the time you made it. It never leaves your browser.

We use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, to understand which pages are visited, how visitors arrive, and which parts of the site are useful. Analytics is only loaded on deployments where it has been configured, and the cookies below are only set if you choose "Accept all" in the cookie banner.

Google Analytics 4 truncates IP addresses before storing them and does not log or store full IP addresses. Data collected may be transferred to and processed in the United States under Google's standard contractual clauses. We do not use advertising, retargeting, or social-media tracking cookies, and we do not sell or share cookie data for advertising purposes. Third-party links on the site (for example to GitHub or Google policies) open external sites that set their own cookies under their own policies.

You have several ways to control cookies on this site:

• Cookie banner.On your first visit, choose "Accept all" to allow analytics cookies or "Reject non-essential" to keep only strictly necessary storage.
• Browser settings. Every major browser lets you view, block, and delete cookies and site data. Blocking all cookies may affect other websites, but this site works without any non-essential cookies.
• Google opt-out. You can install the Google Analytics opt-out browser add-on to prevent Google Analytics from collecting data on any site.

You can change your mind at any time. To withdraw consent for analytics cookies, delete the manifest-cookie-consententry and the Google Analytics cookies for manifestgit.com from your browser's site data. The banner will appear again on your next visit and you can choose "Reject non-essential". Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before you withdrew it.

We may update this policy if we add or remove cookies or if the law changes. The "Last updated" date at the top shows when it was last revised. If we introduce new non-essential cookies, we will ask for your consent again.
